Digital imagery has had major advancements in recent years with more powerful technology allowing for higher quality renders of scanned slides than ever before.

Unfortunately not all laboratories are equipped to handle the needs of their clients, but luckily for you Pacific Rim Pathology has in-house whole slide imaging services to fulfill all your needs!

Pacific Rim utilizes the Leica Aperio AT2 DX System to perform high-resolution digital scanning at 20x and 40x magnification for multiple types of tissues and histochemical stains, backed by a team of coordinators that perform quality control measures on every slide to ensure the highest quality product. 

The whole slide digital image produced by the Leica Aperio AT2 DX system can be converted to a universal .svs file format that can be uploaded into various digital pathology viewing platform or hosted and stored securely.

Additionally, Pacific Rim has collaborated on multiple occasions with sponsors to assist with FDA validation for digital scanners and whole slide image viewers.
