Dr. Sharon Longway joined Pacific Rim Pathology in [YEAR] after serving as [previous role]. She graduated with her medical doctorate from Loma Linda University in 1983 following which she completed her pathology residency at UCSD Medical Center from 1983-1987. Her residency was followed by fellowships at New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston Massachusetts (Surgical Pathology, ’87-88) and at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts (Cytopathology, ’88-89).
At Pacific Rim, Dr. Longway specializes in cytopathology. Dr. Longway has been board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology since 1988.
In addition to her work at Pacific Rim, Dr. Longway serves as a staff pathologist within Sharp Healthcare. She is a registered member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and the San Diego County Medical Society.
