Dr. Perry Jensen joined Pacific Rim Pathology in 1994 after previously working at Palomar Hospital Escondido for Valley Pathology Medical Group from 1991-1994. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1984 and completed his pathology residency at UCSD Medical Center from 1984-1988. He followed up his residency with a surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Dept. of Pathology from 1988-1989. Dr. Jensen has been board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology since 1988.

Dr. Jensen currently serves as a staff pathologist at Pacific Rim focusing upon general anatomic pathology with a specialization in dermatopathology.

In addition to his role at Pacific Rim, Dr. Jensen serves as a staff pathologist within Sharp Healthcare providing his services at Sharp Memorial Hospital and is currently the medical director at Sharp Coronado Hospital. He is currently a member of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
