Dr. Nancy Barr joined Pacific Rim Pathology in 2023. She graduated with her medical doctorate from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in 1982 and completed her pathology residency at the LAC-USC Medical Center from 1982-1986. Following her residency, Dr. Barr completed fellowships at the LAC-USC Medical Center focusing upon Cytology (1986-87) and Immunohistochemistry (1987-89).

At Pacific Rim Pathology Dr. Barr’s areas of expertise include cytopathology, pathology and immunohistochemistry. Her previous career experience includes being a member of the medical faculty at LAC + USC Medical Center from 1989-2014 as a dedicated cytopathologist assisting in the teaching of residents, fellows and medical students. She has been board certified in Anatomic Pathology since 2006.
