Brian Cox, M.D.

Pathologist

Dr. Brian Cox joined Pacific Rim Pathology in 2022.

He graduated with his medical doctorate from Queen’s University Belfast in 2014 and completed one year of anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP) residency at Loma Linda University from 2017-2018 before transferring to Cedars Sinai Medical Center for the remainder of his residency from 2018-2021. He was chief resident in his final year of residency and was a 40 under 40 finalist for pathologist trainees (American Society of Clinical Pathology, 2021). Dr. Cox then completed a fellowship in Gastrointestinal/Liver Pathology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center from 2021 to 2022. Dr. Cox has been board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology since 2021 and has numerous publications related to medical and oncologic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Dr. Cox has served as a staff pathologist at Pacific Rim Pathology since 2022 with an expertise in medical/oncologic gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic pathology.
