Dr. Anand Kunda joined Pacific Rim Pathology in 2007 after previously working as a staff pathologist at Saint-John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, CA. He graduated with his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2000 and completed his pathology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in 2004. He also completed fellowships in cytopathology and hematopathology.

Dr. Kunda’s areas of expertise include surgical and clinical pathology with an emphasis on lymphoma, leukemia, and cytopathology. He also reviews testicular FNAs for fertility evaluation. 

In addition to his role at Pacific Rim, Dr. Kunda serves as medical director at Sharp Coronado Hospital and as a staff pathologist at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, Sharp Grossmont Hospital, and Sharp Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kunda is a registered member of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
